Dismantling the wine barrels
It was a very sad decision, but the grand scale wine
production at Villa Stabbia ceased many years ago and the barrels were
no longer in good shape.
They all had to be dismantled.

Dukakis injured
Good old Dukakis had a bad year, almost tearing a tendon
complete - twice. The only cure was rest.
It took almost a year, but he recovered and was back - strong as
ever.

Autumn Clinic with Francesco Vedani
Once more a clinic with Francesco Vedani was held at the riding centre.
Ten riders attended the sessions, where Francesco showed them "un'equitazione fatta di leggerezza e di rispetto per il cavallo" - riding with lightness and respect for the horse.

Export to Norway
Having visited the farm and tasted the oil, the Norwegian chef and restaurant owner Dag Tjersland,
decided to import the olive oil from Villa Stabbia for the Baltazar
restaurant in Oslo, Norway.

One late evening in June, the sounds of a very
distressed mother and baby owl were heard. The chick had fallen out of
the nest and unable to get back.

Saggio - the annual Horse Riding show
After the whole morning washing and cleaning the horses + riders - the
annual show started in the afternoon.
First the younger ones in the round-pen and then the more experienced
riders in the large arena the whole afternoon, ranging from jumping,
dressage and pony-games.

The right term should really be Grasso & Pizza, as first all the
tack had to be cleaned and polished and well greased, before the pizzas

however, he did not have to go to the hospital, but was operated at
